KAPIL wins

Kapil's, Bangalore won the Team of Four Duplicate event in the Jubilee Hills International Centre Tournament beating Akshay, Hyderabad in a closely fought match.  They were down by 4 IMPs at the end of the first session of 14 boards(33-37) and went on to recover this deficit and win by a similar margin in the second session (24-16) for a final socre of 57-53 IMPs)

Akshay Team :- A.V. Sadasiva, Dr. K. Srinivas, Prakash kejriwal, K. Srinivasa Redy, Arun Deodhar and Y.V. Rao

The JHIC Tournament attracted 43 teams from the South.  After the 9-Round
Swiss the top 8 teams were qualified for the Knock-out Quarterfinals.  The
folding knock-out draw will indicate the order of qualifiers:
